The objective of Data Center Design Evaluation Services is to evaluate the design of a new, or extension/reconstruction of an existing, datacenter and its parameters that may affect its performance and availability. The evaluation is intended to:
• Analyze the design criteria to meet the objective of business requirements
• Provide proactive prevention strategies of possible problems and risks during construction
• Minimize risk factors which may affect performance and availability
• Evaluate the datacenter maintenance options and complexity
• Proactively identify potential enhancements and bring to the attention of the customer
The study is conducted by datacenter professionals and addresses five main critical design areas. The areas are:
• powerful layout and quality;
• environmental factors and dimensioning such as cooling, fire protection, and monitoring of the datacenter;
• electromagnetic fields;
• networks;
• operational security and safety.
A report on the design of the datacenter will be provided. It outlines findings and provides recommendations for potential areas of improvement. Business needs and budget constraints are considered. The goal is to be proactive in improving the datacenter and minimizing risks.
DATA CENTER COMPLIANCE CERTIFICATION
Today’s Datacenter and Telecommunication sites are the backbone of the business. Downtime means frustrated customers, lost revenue and business opportunities.
In order to avoid costly downtime it is important to measure important parameters in the datacenter which could affect its operation. By having an in-depth understanding of the (potential) risks in your
datacenter or telecommunication site, you are able to prioritize investments for improvement in line with the risks in different areas.
Also new standards such as BASIL II, BS15000 and other governance standards are more and more acknowledging the data centre as one of the key areas that needs to be taken into account when talking about risk reduction and cost effectiveness of IT-Operations. The Datacenter Compliance Certification (DCC) service is an extensive survey of the datacenter according to National and International recognized standards making this survey unique in the industry. Until today, there is NO other organization which has spent such amount of research and compilation of applicable standards as our partner EPI making us truly unique.

The output of the Datacenter Compliance Certification is an extensive report with findings, risk analysis and recommendations for risk reduction, all in accordance with international standards. You will also receive a certificate which indicates a ‘Star-rating’ in each measured area and an overall rating of the total datacenter environment.
DATA CENTER REVIEW
The Datacenter Compliance Review is a thorough review of a datacenter in line with industry standards, norms and best practices for mission critical sites. It shows businesses the fundamental gaps and risks in their datacenter which may lead to Hi-Availability problems, increased operating and maintenance costs. The outcome allows businesses to address possible issues, areas of improvement, to rectify issues before they become problems and to proactively budget for improvements.
The Datacenter Compliance Review service is often utilized by companies for two main purposes. First, to plan for improvement. Second, it is used as an in-depth assessment as part of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BC/DR) planning and implementation initiatives.
Furthermore, Datacenter Compliance Review is also used as a stepping stone to the services which provide certification in accordance with international standards.
